Electrical Plant and Equipment Recovery
The mission of EPER is to recover and reuse
electrical plant;
Vast quantities of electrical plant become redundant due to various engineering augmentations;
Generally this equipment retains usability and may be satisfactory for further use in another situation.
Most of this equipment is consigned to land fill;
EPER endeavors to identify through various sources, plant and equipment that is to be removed during planned upgrading works;
early notification of the planned works allows potential re-users to plan for the availability;
Early identification of proposed removal works favors the potential re-user in being able to plan and assist with
the removal works thereby minimizing damage to the equipment during the removal and guaranteeing best condition for re-use;
EPER endeavors to provide information on availability as widely as possible for any potential re-user to assess and plan
for the suitability for re-use;
EPER encourages all organizations involved in the electrical trade to actively identify situations that can lead
to productive re-use of major electrical plant and equipment;
EPER believes that parties that identify recoverable equipment should be rewarded.
Twenty five percent (25%) of the gross fee from any sale will be paid (as a tax paid "GIFT") by EPER to the advertisement originator.
